10.000 | Maasai Mara | Jan Vermeer Photo Adventures
After years of visiting cold Polar regions is it a welcome variety to visit the warm regions of Africa. In springtime I had already visited Tanzania, last week I went to Maasai Mara in Kenia. With a group of very fanatical photographers we stay a week on one location. To stay on one location was a conscious decission, because you learn the surrounding and then you can create more better photo changes and that happens. I made over 10.000 photo's, but also the others reached over their personal record. But quantity is not the most important, but what we have seen is very spectaculair. Leopards, many lions, cheetahs, servals, spotted hyenas, caracal, black-backed jackals, giraffes , impalas, elands, reedbucks and a many of them had young ones. So we can look back on a very succeeded trip which we will do next year again.
