Jan will be holding a photography workshop in the Burgers' Zoo. All digital camera owners who would like to take better photos are welcome. Please note: you do not need to be a professional to take part in this workshop. Course participants will learn to replicate what they see in photographic form as beautifully as possible. Jan has been the 'resident photographer' at the Burgers' Zoo for more than ten years now and he knows the zoo's most photogenic places better than anyone. Day Programme The Burgers' Zoo is particularly well-known for its innovative eco-display, which includes the Bush, Desert, Ocean, Rimba and Safari zones. Subject to weather conditions, we will be photographing in the Bush, Desert and outdoor zones. The zoo's large number of indoor eco-displays makes photography possible even in the wettest conditions. One of the special expedition-style conference rooms in the Safari Meeting Center will serve as an operating base throughout the day. Participation Date: 8 April, 3 June, 2 September, 7 October 2011 Time: 9.00 pm- 17.00 am The cost of participating in this workshop is €110 per person.
The day is divided into a reception-cum-introduction, a practical session in the Bush, Desert and outdoor zones, and a delicious lunch. The day will finish with a closing presentation and participants' best photos will be discussed over a drink. The workshop is open to a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 participants.
