Poster flying Puffin in a snow storm

In 2008, the October edition of the famous journal National Geographic Magazine included a spectacular photo of a puffin in flight during a snowstorm. The full-spread photo was featured under the rubric 'Visions of Earth'. This outstanding photo was published in every edition throughout the world. It was an enormous honour; one with which Jan is obviously delighted. The puffin photo was taken by Jan in the Varangerfjord in Arctic Norway as part of the 'Arctic' photography project.

It started snowing at the very moment a gathering of puffins came flying towards him. Jan struggled to keep the bird in focus. Even though the camera has advanced focus controls, the snowflakes made it a real challenge to maintain a sharp focus on the subject.

Owing to enormous worldwide interest in this unique photo, we have had it printed on heavyweight paper as a high-quality poster. You can now order this magnificent 80 x 60 cm poster for the sum of € 15 plus € 6,75 postage for the Netherlands, other countries:depends on the country of destination, minimum €13,00 .

The poster is shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube.
